Faculty of 1000 Biology
The WVU Libraries have obtained a subscription to Faculty of 1000 Biology as a result of our new membership in BioMed Central.
Faculty of 1000 Biology is an online literature awareness service comprising thousands of selections and evaluations of the most important papers within all areas of biological research. It is organized by subjects such as biochemistry, cell biology, genomics & genetics, immunology, pharmacology & drug discovery, physiology, etc.
Faculty of 1000 Biology can be accessed from the Health Sciences Library Database List, or directly by going to http://www.f1000biology.com. (For off-campus access, it must be accessed through the library database list.) A five-minute Powerpoint site walkthrough can be viewed here.
