Kathleen Higinbotham

Ms. Higinbotham received a B.S. degree in Biology from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA, an M.S. degree in Biomedical Science from Hood College in Frederick, MD, and an M.B.A. degree from Mount St. Mary's College in Emmittsburg, MD. She worked as a Biologist at the NCI for more than 13 years in the research areas of tumor biology and kidney development. Ms. Higinbotham volunteers extensively in the community. She is working with the American Cancer Society and the Frederick Optimist Club. Ms. Higinbotham first joined TTB-Frederick as a Technology Development Administrative Specialist in a Work Detail which started in May 2000 and was arranged with the Laboratory of Comparative Carcinogenesis. She is now employed in the Rockville office of TTB as a Technology Transfer Specialist in the Competitive Service Center.
