This program judges its success by how many stellar applications are funded, and how many products are developed in collaboration with community organizations that assist the small businesses in the dissemination of their products.
The searchable research database in this section consists of findings taken from the final report templates provided by showcase participants. It includes company contact information; research teams and affiliations; project number, title and budget; abstract and research objectives; study design measures and methods; barriers and solutions; final results; peer reviewed publications and presentations.
In the Products section of this homepage, a searchable directory provides company contact information; product names and descriptions; product types, costs and JPEGs; intended audiences and community settings; awards, available press releases; organizations worked with during the projects; assigned patents, licenses or trademarks; commercial collaborations; and success stories.

Information in this section categorizes all phase I research which did not progress to a phase II, and all showcased phase IIs.
Project Descriptions
This database includes the results of research conducted by grantees and contractors and that was presented in four "Linking Science and Business Product Showcases" from 2000-2005. All templates include:
- Contact information for and about the showcase participant
- Project research team and affiliations
- Project number, title, budget and abstract
- Research objectives, theory and hypotheses
- Experimental design, sample size & other study demographics
- Data collection methods
