Description:
This hands-on course will cover the analysis of gene expression microarray data within GeneSpring GX 10. The class will begin with an overview of data import, normalization, experimental setup and sample and probe level quality control tools. From there statistics and fold change will be applied to identify differentially expressed genes. Finally, the course will demonstrate the use of results interpretation tools within GeneSpring. These can be used to map statistically significant data to biological processes and pathways as well as to perform pathway/network analysis.
