Description:
This class will discuss the impact that new technologies in high throughput sequencing are having on our understanding of gene regulation, specifically NGS, ChIP, and Phylogeny.
 
Objectives:
Topics will include:
  • Impact of chromatin immunoprecipitation on gene regulation studies
  • Impact of Next Generation Sequencing on gene regulation studies
  • " The value of quality annotation across multiple species for understanding the genome
Who should attend:
NIH staff with an interest in Next Generation Sequencing, Chromatin Immunoprecipitation, and the impact these technologies are having on our understanding of gene regulation
