Haiqing Li, Ph.D.

Dr. Li received her M.D. from Beijing Medical University (currently Peking University Health Science Center) in 1995, an M.S. in Molecular Biology from SUNY at Buffalo in 1997, and a Ph.D. degree in Cell Biology and Genetics from Cornell University in 2004. Her Ph.D. thesis project focused on the requirement of Id (inhibitor of differentiation) genes and bone marrow incorporation in prostate cancer. After completing her Ph.D. program, Dr. Li worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Medical Oncology Branch at the National Cancer Institute. She was responsible for numerous preclinical drug development projects (including both efficacy and pharmacokinetics studies) and conducted research on therapeutic markers for anti-angiogenic drugs. She joined the TTB in April 2007.
