B.S. Hartwick College, Oneonta, New York.
Ph.D. Johns Hopkins University, School of Hygiene and Public Health. Baltimore, Maryland. Research focused on a filarial (Brugia malayi) homologue of Macrophage Inhibitory Factor (MIF)
Postdoctoral Work: NCI, NIH, Laboratory of Cellular Oncology, Neoplastic Disease section. Interests included neutralization assays for Papillomavirus.
Currently Staff Scientist: NCI, NIH, Laboratory of Molecular Biology, Biotherapy section.
Research
- Interaction of Pseudomonas Exotoxin A (and immunotoxins) with mammalian cells including receptor binding, retrograde transport, and mechanisms of killing.
- Enhancement of tumor cell apoptosis using immunotoxins plus other agents.
