Program Income Additional Cost Alternative 
Purpose of Grant Clinical Investigator Award: To support the development of outstanding clinician research scientists who are committed to a career in research and have the potential to develop into independent investigators.

Minorities in Medical Oncology: To encourage recently trained underrepresented minority clinicians to acquire research experience in medical oncology and increase representation of minorities in medical oncology.

Research Experience Required and/or Eligible Degree Clinical Investigator Award: Broad clinical training, not less than two or more than seven years of postdoctoral experience and an M.D. degree. (M.D.’s and D.O.’s holding the Ph.D. or an equivalent degree will be considered under special circumstances.)

Minorities in Medical Oncology: M.D. or D.O. degree and broad clinical training.
