Use of Combination Microbicides in Monkeys Shows
Promise for Protecting Against HIV-like Virus Research funded by the National
Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) suggests that when
used in combination, vaginal gels known as microbicides protect monkeys
against an HIV-like virus. To find out how this study impacts humans, read
