| On The Cover: Society is slowly beginning to recognize that when it comes to environmental burdens, the weight on women may be separate and unequal to that on men. The Focus this month (p. A28) examines one example: the gathering and use of biofuels. In the NIEHS News (p. A24), scientists discuss the need to look at certain environmental health problems with an eye to how sex may matter. And finally, the Spheres of Influence (p. A34) highlights how addressing such problems from women's perspectives will lead to better solutions for all.
