The Kennebec Arsenal, Maine

 

 

Kennebec Arsenal, the most intact early nineteenth century munitions depot in the United States, has received a federal Save America's Treasures matching grant to repair its granite retaining wall along the river and the granite and cast-iron fence that surrounds the forty-one acre site.
