Position Description: Two post-doctoral positions are available immediately in the Laboratory of Cellular Developmental Signaling (LCDS), Center for Cancer Research (CCR), National Cancer Institute (NCI), National Institutes of Health (NIH), Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS). The LCDS is a research laboratory focused on studying Sphingolipid/Phospholipid Signaling in Drosophila and mammalian systems. Research will involve various genetic, molecular, cell biological and electrophysiological approaches. For more details please see Science 299: 1740, 2003; PNAS 101:1922, 2004: JCB, 173:69, 2006; PNAS 27: 11364, 2007 and Neuron 57: 69, 2008. The stipend provided for this position will be commensurate with the candidates education and research experience. Interested candidates must have a Ph.D. or an equivalent doctoral degree and have less than 5 years postdoctoral experience in a related field.
