Acute Health Effects: From MSDS
EFFECTS OF OVEREXPOSURE
(Part A-Epoxy):
Inhalation: Respiratory tract irritation.
Eye Contact: CAUTION! Can cause moderate irritation. May cause severe eye injury. Damage reversible. (Part B-Polyamide): Liquid causes severe irritation with chemical burns of the cornea. Vapor may produce transient corneal edema with fogging of vision.
Skin Contact: CAUTION! Moderately irritating to the skin. Prolonged or repeated exposure may result in sensitization and rash. Not likely to be absorbed through skin in toxic amounts. (Part B-Polyamide): Prolonged or widespread contact could result in the skin absorption of potentially harmful amounts of material. Product produces severe irritation and may cause burns.
Ingestion: Expected to be slightly toxic by this route.

(Part B-Mercaptan-terminated polymer):
Inhalation: Aspiration can cause chemical pneumonia.
Eye Contact: CAUTION! Can be corrosive to eye tissue leading to permanent injury and even blindness.
Skin Contact: CAUTION! May cause severe skin irritation. Corrosive on prolonged contact. May be a sensitizer. Skin Absorption: Slightly toxic.
Ingestion: Notes to Physician: Gastric lavage may be considered depending on degree of mucosal damage. Treatment for shock, respiratory depression and convulsions may be necessary.

Other Health Information (Part B-Mercaptan-terminated polymer): Acute Over-Exposure: Severe burns to skin, eyes, respiratory and gastrointestinal tracts.
Chronic Health Effects: From MSDS
(prolonged) EXPOSURE:
(Part B-Mercaptan-terminated polymer): Dermatitis, delayed lung injury, chemical pneumonia.
Carcinogenicity: From MSDS
This product (or components, if a mixture) is not listed in IARC Monographs, the NTP Fourth Annual Report or the current ACGIH TLVs as a carcinogen or potential carcinogen. It is not regulated by OSHA as a carcinogen.
First Aid: From MSDS
Inhalation: Remove person to fresh air. Give oxygen if breathing is difficult. Obtain immediate medical attention.
Eye Contact: Flush thoroughly with water for at least 15 minutes while lifting upper and lower lids. Get immediate medical attention.
Skin contact: Immediately remove contaminated clothing or shoes. Wipe excess from skin and flush with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Use soap if available or follow by washing with soap and water. Do not reuse clothing until thoroughly cleaned. Get medical attention. Contaminated leather articles, including shoes, cannot be decontaminated and should be destroyed to prevent reuse.
Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting. Give large amounts of water or milk if available and transport to a medical facility.
