Biomedical Investigation Database (BID)

CEBS Development Forum

BID is a relational database used to load and curate study data prior to export to CEBS, and is also a means to capture and display novel data types such as PCR data, or additional fields of interest.

BID was originally used to model the study domain and the CEBS-Data Dictionary. BID is built in Oracle with a ColdFusion interface which can be easily modified to add new features.

The BID schema is summarized here (http://www.niehs.nih.gov/research/resources/databases/cebs/forum/docs/CEBS-DF-figs.pdf)  Download Adobe Reader (198KB).
