1.  Low-Dose Cytarabine Improves Survival of Older Patients with Leukemia
(Posted: 03/27/2007) - Low doses of the chemotherapy drug cytarabine increased overall survival in patients with acute myeloid leukemia who were not healthy enough to receive the standard treatment of high-dose, intensive chemotherapy, according to the March 15, 2007, issue of the journal Cancer.

2.  Lenalidomide Reduces Need for Blood Transfusions in Myelodysplastic Syndrome
(Posted: 05/15/2005) - Lenalidomide (Revlimid™) reduced the need for blood transfusions in some patients with myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS), according to findings presented at the 2005 meeting of the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
