The Redes En Acción project organized one national and six regional networks for cancer awareness, training, and research. The project was established by the Baylor College of Medicine and partner institutions in New York, Chicago, Miami, San Antonio, San Diego, and San Francisco. The network, which grew out of the NCI-funded National Hispanic Leadership on Cancer (NHLIC): En Acción, provided infrastructure for involving diverse Hispanic populations in a comprehensive range of cancer awareness, training, and research activities.
