Biosketch:
Mr. Edward J. Kostolansky is the Chief of the NIDDK/FIC Research & Development Contracts Management Branch in the Office of Acquisitions, Division of Extramural Activities and supervises the six staff members in the branch. Mr. Kostolansky earned his bachelors degree from Boston College. He joined the National Institute of Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism in 1986 as a contract specialist. In 2005 he served as Acting Chief of the NIAAA Contracts Management Branch. He was hired by NIDDK to his current position in December, 2005. Mr. Kostolansky is certified as a Department of Health and Human Services Level IV Acquisition Manager with unlimited signature authority. He is currently a member of the NIH Acquisition Management Committee sub-committee working on telework and emergency preparedness.
