- Hable con su médico sobre su temor y sus ataques de pánico.
Dígale a su médico si los ataques de pánico le previenen cumplir con sus responsabilidades diarias y vivir su vida. Si lo desea, muéstrele este folleto, pues le puede ayudar a explicar cómo se siente. Pídale a su médico que lo examine para asegurarse de que no tiene otra enfermedad diferente.
- Pregúntele a su médico si él o ella ha ayudado a otras personas con trastorno de pánico.
Existen cursos especiales que ayudan a los médicos a tratar a las personas con trastorno de pánico. Si su médico no ha recibido estos cursos especiales, pídale que le proporcione el nombre de otro médico o consejero que sí lo haya hecho.
