U.S. Diabetes Prevalence, 2007

Estimated prevalence of diagnosed and undiagnosed diabetes in people aged 20 to 39 years and 40 to 59 years and 60 plus years groups

Source: 2004-2006 National Health Interview Survey estimates projected to year 2007.

Note:

2.6 percent of all people 20 through 39 years have diabetes.
10.8 percent all people 40 through 59 years have diabetes.
23.8 percent of all people aged 60 and older have diabetes - that is about one out of every 4 older adults!
