What is the Internet Assisted Review (IAR) module?

The Internet Assisted Review (IAR) module is a Web-based system to manage the process of electronic submission of critiques by Reviewers. The eRA-developed IAR system helps expedite the scientific review of grant applications by providing a standard process for Reviewers to submit their critiques and initial priority scores via the Internet. Both NIH staff and NIH institutional partners use the IAR module during the pre-award phase of the grant application process.
