What is the Grants Management (GM) Module?

The Grants Management module is an internal, client-server application that provides the NIH Grants Official with the ability to award, revise, release, and obligate grants awards. The three primary functional areas of the GM applications are for making awards, assigning grants, and viewing workload.

What is the GM Lead Users Group?

The GM Lead Users Group provides a unique forum for IC representatives to learn, share, and network with colleagues about the eRA System Grants Module (GM) as well as other eRA System modules used by Grants Management. Discussion, demonstrations, and/or hands-on training sessions are used to educate Lead Users on new features.

In turn, Lead Users are expected to help coordinate similar training for their colleagues within their respective ICs.

The group also serves as a major channel for information dissemination to and from the OER GM staff and developers with particular focus on recommending and prioritizing improvements and enhancements.
