NCI announces a course for postdoctoral fellows:
Teaching In Medical Education (TIME)

Overview:     
Many postdoctoral fellows are considering an academic career at a medical school.  In addition to conducting research, new faculty need to learn effective teaching methodologies.  The course will focus on good teaching practices including basic strategies for developing and organizing a course.

The purpose of this course is to increase the scientist’s ability to teach in medical education.  The course will provide basic knowledge in teaching methods, course planning, writing a syllabus and developing examinations.

Location and Time: The course will be held in Bethesda and Frederick.

Related Training:
