The Ethics in Government Act requires an agency to provide an initial ethics orientation to employees new to the agency. The National Institutes of Health (NIH) provides a web-based training system for your convenience in completing this requirement.
If you are required to complete the training, click on "Proceed to New Employee Ethics Orientation" below and on the next screen click on "Login". At the end of the training, view and print the certificate. Send the certificate to your IC's Ethics Office.
If you just want to browse through the information and not get a certificate, click on "Proceed to New Employee Ethics Orientation" below and on the next screen click on "Browse". You will not receive a certificate if you browse through the training module.
