Attention Signing Officials (SOs): eRA Commons Status Search Issue

What is the issue?
Using the Principal Investigator’s (PI) name to limit searches may not provide desired results.
When logged into an eRA Commons account with the Signing Official (SO) role, there are numerous search options available within the Status function. Within each search option there also are numerous fields that can be used to limit a particular search. If you use the PI name to limit a search, you may not get a full listing of all the PI’s activity.
Note: PIs are able to see everything belonging to them when they run PI Status from within their PI account.
What should I do?
When doing searches within SO Status, do not use PI name to limit your search. Instead, limit your searches with other criteria (e.g. grant number, budget start and end dates).
We are currently in a code freeze period so as not to interfere with Electronic Submission of R01s in February and March. We anticipate having this fixed in April.
