Elective Rotations for Residents and Clinical Fellows: Resident Electives

Transfusion Medicine

If you are a transfusion medicine Fellow or Resident, you have the opportunity to do an elective rotation throughout the Department of Transfusion Medicine (DTM) for specialized experience in immunohematology, cell processing, apheresis, and/or clinical training. These electives occur approximately twice per year for one month each. Your month here can be individualized to best suit your interests, and you may participate in DTM activities. An elective rotation is usually scheduled several months in advance in order to provide the best learning experience for you.
