The purpose of this amendment is to modify the Statement of Work as follows:
Section B. Statement of Work/Technical Reporting Requirements is amended to add the following:
ARTICLE C.1. STATEMENT OF WORK, A. WORK TO BE PERFORMED, paragraph 1., delete the first sentence
of the second full paragraph and substitute the following two sentences:
"The C. Elegans Genetic Center currently contains approximately 4000-5000 strains that must be maintained on an
on-going basis. In addition, approximately 200-400 strains of C. elegans shall be acquired each year from collaborating
laboratories." (the remainder of the paragraph remains unchanged)
ARTICLE C.1. STATEMENT OF WORK, A. WORK TO BE PERFORMED, paragraph 11., delete the first
sentence and substitute the following text:
"The Contractor shall maintain the current computer-based storage and retrieval system which shall contain all relevant
data in the areas listed below. The Contractor shall ensure that appropriate security measures are in place to protect the data
base, commensurate with the risk and magnitude of harm that could result from the loss, misuse, or unauthorized access to
or modification of the data. (Note to Offerors: Describe such security measures in the proposal submitted in response to this
RFP. The NCRR considers this data to be classified as "Low Sensitivity", requiring minimal amount of protection.)"
