This Notice is to inform the scientific community that the NHLBI is amending the special eligibility criteria for RFA-HL-07-004, “Career Development Program in the Genetics and Genomics of Lung Diseases (K12),” by adding the following requirement.

To the end of Part 2, Section III.1.B., Eligible Individuals, the following paragraph is added:

"In addition to the citizenship and percent effort commitment requirements, scholars should be research fellows, clinical or research instructors, or recently appointed assistant professors who have completed their M.D. degrees and residency training within the past 5 years or their Ph.D. degrees within the past 5 years.”
