CRISP Plus

Print Icon Downloadable PDF Fact Sheet (353 KB)

What is the purpose?

CRISP Plus is an internal system available to HHS staff through eRA. Like CRISP, the external version of this query tool that is available to the public, it is a searchable database that tracks federally funded biomedical research projects that are supported by the Department of Health and Human Services. CRISP Plus provides HHS staff with improved indexing and enhanced search capabilities of the CRISP database, and reporting functions based on award and a grant's scientific content.

What are the features?

CRISP Plus allows NIH staff to perform keyword searches of grant titles, abstracts, and application summary statements. It houses sensitive information, such as dollar amounts and information on unfunded grants not made available in the external version of CRISP.

Who can use the CRISP Plus?

Access is restricted to authorized users based on the user's status and responsibilities.
