The maximum number of items for e-mailing/downloading at one time is 500. The default number of items is 20.

• Text e-mail is e-mail that contains only text. It omits any special highlights, colors, pictures, and graphics.
• HTML e-mail is e-mail that contains pictures, graphics, and otherwise looks similar to a Web page.

Note: Some ISPs (Internet Service Providers) do not permit HTML e-mail.

• The Unlabelled (default) format does not display field labels with the search results.

Note: View this table to compare the fields found in both the brief and expanded formats.  Included fields are different for each collection.

• Brief (default) detail includes the same fields shown on the initial display of an item on the Results page.
• Expanded detail displays a more complete record, including the abstract and index terms (if applicable), and various other fields depending on the collection.
• Complete detail includes all available fields for a record.
