Terminology and Ontology Research investigates methods to aid in the development of systems that help users retrieve and integrate electronic biomedical information from a variety of sources by making it easier to link disparate information systems. Additionally, staff maintain user access to the Unified Medical Language System (UMLS) Knowledge Sources through system maintenance and improvements. Current projects include:
