Visiting the CCR
Most of CCR’s scientists and clinicians work on the two NCI campuses located in Bethesda and Frederick, Maryland. Several CCR groups are also located at the NCI Advanced Technology Center (ATC) on the campus of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) in Gaithersburg, Maryland. Additional NCI-CCR offices are located in Rockville, Maryland.
NIH Main Campus, Bethesda, MD
The senior management offices of the National Cancer Institute (NCI), along with 33 CCR laboratories, branches, and programs are located on the National Institutes of Health (NIH) main campus in Bethesda, MD. Cancer Clinical Trials at the NIH Clinical Center – All of CCR’s clinical trials are conducted on the Bethesda campus, within the NIH Clinical Center. NCI-Frederick Campus, Frederick, MD
The National Cancer Institute at Frederick (NCI-Frederick) is located within the Fort Detrick Army Garrison in Frederick, MD. NCI-Frederick Shuttle Service – The NCI-Frederick shuttle service is available to take visitors to/from the Frederick and Bethesda campuses four (4) times daily, with the first run starting from the Frederick campus at 6:55 am. Click here to view the Frederick–Bethesda shuttle schedule.
Other Locations
NCI Advanced Technology Center, Gaithersburg, MD – The NCI Advanced Technology Center (ATC) is located on the campus of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) in Gaithersburg, MD. The ATC houses the Core Genotyping Facility (CGF) and the Microarray Center. Driving directions and a map are available at CGF Facilities / Location.
Executive Boulevard, Rockville, MD – NCI also maintains several office complexes in Rockville, Maryland off of Executive Blvd. These offices include Executive Plaza North (EPN), Executive Plaza South (EPS), and others.
