There was an Industry Advisory Council meeting held July 16th at the NITAAC facilities on 6011 Executive Blvd. The following list identifies the attendees, their companies, and which contract they represent (if applicable): Dr. Lee (NITAAC), Marie Monsees(NITAAC), Jeffrey Westerhoff (SRA - CIO-SP), Jim Collins (Sytel - Image World), Laurie Maisel (Presidio - ECS II), Stuart Kramer (Multimax - Chairman), Elmer Sembly (NITAAC) and Pam Stearman (Intermetrics -CIO-SP).
There is a new IAC member, Jean-Marie Klitzner (CSC - CIO-SP). She will be joining us at our next meeting.
18 vendors have signed up for Ad Blitz. The radio ads will start July 27 and run through September 14 across at least 25 stations. There are 5 ads in GCN and 5 in FCW, starting early August through the end of September. There will be other advertising efforts with different alternatives for participation (especially focused on cost effective ads for small businesses), since this one is so successful. The trade show committee will begin to plan for next year. Any company that wishes to participate in NITAAC trade shows should try to coordinate with that committee (contact Elmer).
The next date for a vendor meeting for all 3 vehicles will be October 8th at 9 am. NITAAC has decided to always hold a vendor meeting the second week in October and January, specifically the 2nd Thursday of 1st month of each quarter.

A final note: Peter Levineis is a guest speaker on August 5th at Bethesda Medical NCMA Chapter meeting. It should be interesting to hear his view of GWACS.
