Flicker Comparison of 2D Gel Images

Description:
Flicker is a method for comparing 2D gel images (or other types of images) across the internet in your web browser without the need for installation of any specialized software. When comparing 2D gel images against SWISS-2DPAGE images, click on a spot in the Swiss-Prot gel image to pop up a corresponding Swiss-Prot entry if it exists for that spot. There are two versions: the old Flicker Java applet (http://www.ccrnp.ncifcrf.gov/flicker) used in your Web browser, and the new open-source Flicker Java Application that you download (http://open2dprot.sourceforce.net/Flicker) and install on your computer. We recommend using the downloadable Flicker Java application as it is more robust and has many new features including limited spot quantification and reporting.
