Diane Frasier welcomed everyone to the IAC meeting and wished everyone Happy Holidays.  She invited everyone to partake from the Holiday Potluck and thanked all who brought the wonderful food and sweets for the potluck luncheon held during the IAC meeting.

è   Audit of the NIH Procurement for Property                      Ms. Diane J. Frasier, NIH
and Services on Behalf of the DoD

Ms. Diane Frasier, Acting ADA, Head of Contracting Activity, Director, Office of Acquisition Management and Policy, OA, OM, IAC, Co-Chair briefed the IAC on the upcoming scheduled audit on behalf of the DOD IG being conducted by the HHS auditors on DoD task orders.  She briefed that audits were expected to initially focus on FY 2006 task orders with a focus on NITAAC’s CIO-SP2i contract task orders.  These task orders accounted for approximately $92M in awards in FY 2006 alone.

A revised draft of the 2007 Upcoming Tradeshows was distributed for comment.  It was noted that the current list did not identify any tradeshows specifically targeted for small business. The marketing team will update the schedule with proposed upcoming SB Shows.

IAC council members are encouraged to contact Victor Powers with any suggested shows in early January.

from Comparative Analysis of GWACs and MACsBearingPoint

Ms. Diane McLaughlin, Programs Subcommittee Chair, led a roundtable discussion exhibiting some of the results to date from the preparation of a draft comparative analysis many of the existing, past, and future GWAC contracts and some representative Agency ID/IQ MACs.

è   Report on NITAAC Contract Performance

Mr. Greg Holliday and Mr. Donald Wilson, Senior Contracting Officers, NITAAC, reported on NITAAC contract performance as of the end of December 2006 with the following:

   ECS III has an inception to date total of 61,564 orders for a total value of $1.2B.

   IW2nd has currently awarded are 467 Delivery Orders with a value of $71.5M and 43 Task Orders valued at $31.6M.

   CIO-SP2i now has 483 awarded Task Orders with a base and option year value of $6.5B if all options are exercised. 

èOpen Discussion/Potential Agenda Items for the Next Meeting-

The next IAC Meeting will be held on Thursday, January 18th, 2007 from 10:00 A.M.–11:30 A.M in Bldg. 6100 Executive Blvd., in Conference Room 6D01.  The IAC will, at a minimum, discuss the results of the collaborative efforts of the subcommittees on the GWAC comparative analysis and the subcommittee minutes as presented by each Subcommittee Chairperson, NITAAC Contract Performance, SBA Requirements for Small Businesses to Recertify Business Size and the ongoing efforts of the NITAAC Outreach and Education Team at our next meeting.

Your input is requested on any new agenda items for the next IAC meeting.  Please propose your desired agenda items or your desire to participate on the IAC Subcommittees as a new member.
