NITAAC IAC Minutes
for July 19, 2001
The meeting opened with an update
on the NITAAC/CECOM issue:
- The first option was splitting the one percent fee
between CECOM and NITAAC or providing a special discount for the CECOM
community.
- Industry asked what value-add is CECOM providing to
earn that extra revenue?
- The suggestion was given to provide CECOM volume
discounts based upon revenue volumes.
The discussion then moved to the
NITAAC website:
- The issue is no awards have been posted to the site
as of yet. NITAAC is working on
that but awards are being posted to the applicable vendors.
- Industry suggested the use of web-portal technology
to update the site automatically.
NITAAC state they are currently reviewing some portal technology
for this purpose.
The discussion then moved to the
8(a) SBA credit issue:
- NITAAC has forwarded the finalized memorandum of
understanding (MOU) package to SBA.
It looks favorable by SBA standards and they expect confirmation by
end of July.
The discussion then moved to the
NITAAC MIPR issue:
- NITAAC stated that the drafts were sent to the
finance team for comments. The Office
of Management and Budget (OMB) have received the responses back from
finance with a request for NITAAC to get budget authorization approval.
- NITAAC stated that they would not be parking funds.
The final action item was the
review of the CIO-SP2 i Marketing brochure:
- Suggestions were to be e-mailed
