The meeting opened with update on
small business issue:

NITAAAC stated that the SBA has accepted their
proposal. They are currently in the process of finalizing a memorandum of
understanding.

Clarification being addressed about whether 8(a)
subcontractors are eligible for credit.
The meeting then moved to
discussing the revolving funds issue:
- NITAAC met with the financial management team again.Financial
management agreed to NITAAC’s position.
- According to NITAAC, once the accounts (internal)
established they could start using the MIPR process.
- NITAAC in the process of finalizing all of the
paperwork with the financial management team. They anticipate about two (2) weeks for the final approval.
The discussion moved to the issue
of pricing solutions for CIO-SP2 i:
- Industry brought up possibly modifying the contract
to accept service-level agreement (SLA) pricing as opposed to hourly
pricing, which may not be applicable (i.e.…. seat management).
- NITAAC is working on that issue and should be able to
give an update at the next meeting.
The next item of discussion was
the NITAAC and CECOM agreement:
- NITAAC gave overview of the NITAAC/CECOM issue. The issue was how to address the fee
structure. Two possible options
were offered:
- Split the one percent fee or;
- Increase to 1.5 percent or 2 percent
- There was also some discussion of some co-marketing
efforts between the two agencies (i.e.…. NITAAC as preferred GWAC
vehicle).
