Loan Repayment Program for Clinical Research and the

Pediatric Research Loan Repayment Program

 


The National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA) participates in the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Loan Repayment Program (LRP) for Clinical Research (LRP-CR) and the Pediatric Research Loan Repayment Program (PR-LRP). The programs propose to recruit and retain qualified health professionals (applicants must have a M.D., Ph.D., Pharm.D. D.O., D.D.S., D.M.D., D.P.M., D.C., N.D., or equivalent degree) to participate in these programs as clinical investigators and pediatric researchers. The LRPs provide repayment of up to $35,000 of the educational loans of extramural grantees or awardees for each year of obligated service.

The application cycle opened September 1, 2008, and will close on  December 3, 2008 at 8 p.m. EST.
