  • 11/8/1999: Thrift Savings Plan Open Season
    The Thrift Savings Plan is having another open season from Nov. 15, 1999, through Jan. 31, 2000. FERS employees who were hired before July 1, 1999, as well as CSRS employees have an opportunity to change their current election, or make an initial election.
  • 10/7/1999: Free Flu Vaccinations for NIH Employees
    This year's vaccine protects against both influenza A and B. NIH employees can "foil the flu" by choosing to receive a flu vaccination during one of the convenient times and locations.
  • 9/29/1999: Community Event--Share the Health
    NIH wants to “Share the Health” with its neighbors on Saturday, November 6, 1999 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Natcher Conference Center on the NIH campus, 45 Center Drive in Bethesda, Maryland. The event features health seminars, exhibits, free health materials, presentations by elected officials, interactive computer and Web TV demonstrations, tours, dance workshops, volunteer opportunities, and more.     DES has updated their site on the Dale and Betty Bumpers Vaccine Research Center. This update includes images from the dedication ceremony.

    The Office of Management Assessment's NIH Manual Chapters Web site has been redesigned to allow searching and browsing of Manual Chapters and Delegations of Authority.
  • 1/27/1999: Summer Internship Program
    A Summer Internship Program is now available, including the ability to submit applications electronically.
