  A comprehensive guide for caregivers covering basic information about HIV, how to give care, how to protect against infections, how to recognize symptoms, how to make decisions, and how to provide emotional support. Produced by the U.S. DHHS Public Health Service, CDC, and American Red Cross, available in English and Spanish.
• Family Caregiver Alliance
  A center focusing on long-term care located in San Francisco. Web site offers a resource center, clearinghouse, news bureau, interviews, public policy information, and links.
• Health Cares Exchange Initiative
  Mission is to create supportive networks for caregivers, including AIDS caregivers, in diversely affected geographic areas and to encourage caregiver collaboration, enhance community-based care, and educate caregivers about stress management.
• National Family Caregivers Association
  Grassroots organization created to educate, support, empower, and speak up for the millions of Americans who care for chronically ill, aged, or disabled loved ones.
• SynergyAIDS Resource Center: Caregiver Documents
  SynergyAIDS provides technical assistance to the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in the design, evaluation, and coordination of HIV/AIDS programs. Documents can be requested through the site via an online form.
