Genotyping Analysis
Samples were amplified using PCR-based PowerPlex 1.2 (Promega). This intraspecies human identity test, which examines polymorphic short tandem repeat (STR) DNA regions, uniquely identifies unrelated individuals and cell lines. Most of the above cell lines have been tested by STR analysis and found to be unique. This will assist us in identifying each line and monitoring the purity of the lines over time. (Tests performed by ATCC and Cell Line Genetics.)
