Stephen E. Straus Distinguished Lecture Series in the Science of Complementary and Alternative Medicine

This lecture series is presented by NCCAM and supported by the Foundation for the National Institutes of Health with generous funding from The Bernard Osher Foundation. Dr. Sherwin Nuland will present the first lecture of the series. The public may attend the lectures in Bethesda, Maryland, or view the videocast on the web.

North American Research Conference on Complementary & Integrative Medicine: Collaboration to Promote Scientific Discovery and Health

May 12–16, 2009
Minneapolis, Minnesota

This conference is sponsored by the Consortium of Academic Health Centers for Integrative Medicine (CAHCIM), which consists of 41 leading academic medical centers from across North America. The conference will showcase original scientific complementary, alternative and integrative medical research through keynote and plenary presentations, oral and poster presentations, and innovative scientific sessions. This goal of the directors of this conference is to provide a single event that attracts a critical mass of cutting-edge, peer-reviewed science and discussion in the broad field of complementary and integrative medical research. Abstracts will be accepted through September 30, 2008.
