Peter R. Gilbert, Sc.M.

Peter Gilbert is a statistician in the Clinical Trials Cluster. He holds a master's degree in biostatistics from the Johns Hopkins University and completed further graduate training in biostatistics at the George Washington University. He came to NINDS following 12 years as a program officer at the NIAID, where he helped coordinate the cooperative clinical trials groups developing therapies for HIV disease and its complications. Prior to that he spent 7 years at the George Washington University Biostatistics Center, where he was a biostatistician for several NIH-funded multicenter trials.
