The Keyword/Keyword Phrase search feature recognizes keywords and /or keyword phrases exactly as they are input in data entry fields by e-PIC registrants.  Keywords identified independently will be searched only by the word description.  A string of keywords will be searched exactly by the string of words.  For example, "vaccine research" will search organizations providing only vaccine and research.

A keyword or keyword phrase separated by "and" as well as "or" will search for an exact match. For example, "pens and pencils" will search for organizations providing "pens and pencils"; "pens or pencils" will search for organizations providing either one of the items.

The e-PIC dictionary builds upon “key words” entered into the “key word” descriptive block by e-PIC registrants. The dictionary is available to assist e-PIC registrants craft useful terms to describe products, services and organizational capability and is available to “searchers” of the system to facilitate optimal selection and matching of organizational capability.

The search engine is not case-sensitive.
