Fellow-L List
Do you want to know what is going on at NIH that relates specifically to NIH fellows? You should subscribe to this listserv! The Fellow-L listserv was developed to provide a forum where NIH fellows can post questions or information that relates to NIH research, training, or other professional duties. Postings to this listserv are limited to work/professional items only. Upcoming Career Development seminars as well as special NIH seminars are announced via this listserv. The Office of Intramural Training and Education also becomes aware of job and teaching opportunities and posts these items on Fellow-L. Would you like to meet other NIH fellows in a social setting? Felcom Fridays are social gatherings organized by the Social subcommittee and dates and locations are announced via Fellow-L. (Sorry, but we only advertise Felcom social gatherings on Fellow-L.) To join the Fellow-L listserv, go to the NIH listserv homepage (https://list.nih.gov/) and follow the instructions.
Fellows Merchandise & Exchange Board
The Fellows Merchandise and Exchange Board was developed to provide a venue where fellows can discuss other items of interest that are not work-related, but equally important especially to those new to the area. The more people use this, the more valuable it will become to the entire NIH fellows' community. Please recognize that this bulletin board is restricted to the NIH fellows' community only and no flagrant, sexually explicit, or harassing posts will be tolerated. This is why we require you to set up an account before you may use it.

- I have a friend who is an excellent scientist looking for a position in this area. Attached is his CV... All persons looking for training (http://www.training.nih.gov/) or employment (http://www.jobs.nih.gov/) at NIH should go to the indicated web sites
- Requests for Housing
- I am an NIH fellow looking for a roommate... All persons looking for housing can look at the Recreation &Welfare housing website (http://www.recgov.org/housing/housing.html).
- Selling or Buying Items
- I just got a permanent position out of state. I am selling all my furniture and household goods... All persons looking to buy or sell items can look/post on the Fellows Merchandise and Exchange Board
- Solicitations
- The ACS is holding a benefit gala to raise money for cancer research... The Fellows Merchandise and Exchange Board is the appropriate place for such postings.
