Standard Operating Procedure Table of Contents

Purpose
To enable program
officers to obtain summary
statements from IMPAC.
Procedure
NIAID program staff access summary statements for applications assigned
to them for the following reasons.
- Discuss the peer
review results with the PI.
- Make funding recommendations before award.
- Prepare special issues for Council.
Program Staff
Accessing summary statements in the ECB
- Logon through the ECB
logon screen. Enter your IMPAC user ID and password and select
Logon.
- Enter your search criteria, such as program
class code or RFA number,
and select Search All Scores.
- As summary statements become available each Council, grant numbers
are underscored.
- Select an underscored grant number to retrieve a summary statement.
Accessing summary statements in Quickview
- Logon to Quickview. Enter your IMPAC username, password, and database,
and select Connect.
- Select Search.
- Enter grant number or PI name and select Run Query.
- Select a Grant Folder. Each application and grant has a folder with
summary statements for the past five years.
- Select Summary Statement to retrieve.
