A Call for Posters
NIDA International SPR Poster Session

The International Program and the Prevention Research Branch of the National Institute of Drug Abuse (NIDA) will host the 2nd Annual NIDA International SPR Poster Session at the SPR 17th Annual Meeting in Washington D.C. in May 2009. This event will take place in conjunction with the SPR opening reception following the SPR pre-conference workshops. Posters will highlight prevention and prevention related research completed in international settings by international researchers, domestic researchers, or bi-national teams. Submissions for this NIDA-supported international poster session will undergo the same peer review process as other posters submissions for SPR. A limited number of travel awards will be available to international researchers whose abstracts (1) are accepted through the peer review process and (2) focus on a topic related to drug abuse research. The travel award will provide partial support to cover costs associated with attendance at the 2009 SPR meeting. If you have questions regarding this session, please contact Eve Reider, Ph.D., Prevention Research Branch, NIDA, at: ereider@mail.nih.gov or Dale Weiss, NIDA International Program, at: dweiss@nida.nih.gov.

Abstracts are to be submitted on-line at SPR Abstract Submission.
