NBS automates and links NIH's administrative processes, resources, and financial information.

NED provides a single-source IT directory of the 27,000 people who work at NIH.
- NIH Federated Identity Service
Federation allows outside collaborators who are authorized by NIH groups to access certain NIH applications using the login credentials from their own organization.
- PMS — Payment Management System
PMS is the largest grants payment and cash management system in the federal government.
- UFMS — Unified Financial Management System
UFMS is consolidating financial management systems across all HHS agencies.
- VetPro
VetPro is a Web-based physician credentialing system for federal agencies that employ healthcare providers.
