Leadership Development Committee
Committee Charter
The mission of the Leadership Development Committee (LDC) is to implement
the initiative to establish an NIH Leadership Base as outlined in the NIH
Strategic Plan. The LDC provides direction and guidance for the MCP.
The LDC is charged to:
- formulate plans, policy and implementation strategies regarding the
operations of a NIH Leadership Development program;
- determine the need for and establishment of various leadership development
programs;
- outline selection criteria and to participate in the initial screening and
final selection of applicants for the Management Cadre program and similar
Management training programs; and
- provide guidance and feedback to DPM on the need for the types of training
required for the establishment of a leadership base within the NIH.
