NCBDE is pleased to announce that, beginning in 2009, the Certification Examination for Diabetes Educators will be computer-based. The Examination will continue to be administered twice a year, in the spring (beginning in May) and fall (beginning in November), but there will now be extended testing periods for both administrations, during which approved candidates will be able to schedule appointments to take the examination on a date of their choosing. Congratulations to the three CDEs who were winners of the NCBDE drawings held during the American Association of Diabetes Educators Annual Meeting in Washington, DC this month.
