ACMIS stands for Acquisition Consolidated Management Information System and is a Government wide, web based system that manages training, education , certification warrant information. Use of the system is mandated in 41 U.S.C. 433(d), OFPP Policy Letter 05-01 and the HHS Acquisition Workforce Training and Certification Handbook. The ACMIS system is available at www.acmis.gov.
The following groups are required to register in ACMIS and keep the system updated:
- All Contracting Officers regardless of series
- All positions in the general schedule contracting series (GS-1102)
- All position in the general schedule purchasing series (GS-1105/ GS-1106)
- Project Officers (Contracting Officer Representatives/Contracting Officer Technical Representative)
- Program and Project Managers identified by the Chief Contracting Official as members of the acquisition workforce.
